The Hare & Hounds, 1988 and 2011
The Hare & Hounds on Kingstanding Road on 29 August 1988, “when it was still a public house”: seven dormers, tall chimneys and Mitchells & Butlers over the door. By 2011 it was a hand car wash; it was gutted by fire in 2016.

The billiard hall, 1984 and 2011
The Kingstanding Road billiard hall in 1984, its curved white front lettered Billiards. By about 2011 the same building beside the police station was advertising its function room.
