Community Guidelines

What groups can post, how moderation works, and how to put things right.

These guidelines apply to community groups listed on This is Kingstanding and to anyone posting through the Group Portal. They help keep our platform welcoming, accurate and trustworthy for the whole community.

What groups can post

Approved groups can use the Group Portal to post:

What content is allowed

What is not allowed

How moderation works

To keep listings trustworthy, content from groups may be reviewed before it is published. Trusted groups may be granted the ability to publish some content automatically. Our moderators check that posts meet these guidelines, and we may edit minor details (such as formatting or typos) to keep listings clear.

How rejected posts can be corrected

If a post is rejected, we will explain why through the Group Portal or by email. In most cases you can simply edit the post to address the issue — for example, correcting inaccurate details or removing content that breaches these guidelines — and resubmit it for review.

How group access can be suspended

If a group repeatedly breaches these guidelines, posts harmful content, or misuses the Group Portal, we may suspend or remove its access. Where appropriate we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. Serious breaches may result in immediate suspension. Suspended groups can contact us to discuss reinstatement.
