Lost Birmingham in 3D

St Mary’s, Whittall Street, on today’s streets

Joseph Pickford’s octagonal church of 1774 stood in its own churchyard off Whittall Street, with what Hutton called ‘too little steeple, and too much roof’. It was closed by Act of Parliament in 1925 and demolished.
