The Luftwaffe's 1:50,000 location map for the GEC works at Witton, December 1939. Its top-left corner shows Kings Vale, New Oscott, Warren Farm and Witton Lodge Farm.

Sheet GB 84 4 a from Luftwaffe target folder GB 84 4 (General Electric Co. Ltd, Witton). It is headed 'Geheim' (secret) and dated 'Lft.2 Dez. 1939'. The base is a British Ordnance Survey map, and the GEC works are outlined in red. The map runs from New Oscott and Kings Vale in the north-west to Castle Bromwich and Stechford.

Notes

Place: confirmed. The labels 'Kings Vale', 'Orphanage', 'New Oscott', 'Warren Fm' and 'Witton Lodge Fm' are the Kingstanding and Perry Common edge. Note that the German cartographers copied an older OS base, so the Kingstanding estate is not drawn: the area still shows as farmland. Date: December 1939, printed on the sheet.
