I used to have to take a bet on my way to Peckham Rd school every day for my dad and remember the man would hold his hand behind his back and we had to slip the bet in his hand.

In the hall at the back of the church we used to have a rock and roll night. I remember a guy by the name of Pete I think it was who taught us “the Madison”. Must have been the first line dance ever.
