The boys’ prefects at Dulwich Road Secondary Modern School in 1955, shared by John Hall, who was in Mr Porter’s class 4a in 1955. He remembers: “class 4a 1955 in my year here is a few name Fred Ward Danny Higgins Bob Carrolin David Bourne George Welch Keith Gibbs Peter Short. David Bourne and I ice skated on the boy play ground. That’s when winters were winters.”
Notes
John Hall named “kieth gibbs” twice in the bottom row; David Mitchell corrected the second to a boy named Gibson, and Eric Gibson identified him as his younger brother Gordon.
