The Kingstanding pub three times over: the 1930s original, its 1960s replacement and the later red-brick pub.

Top: the original Mitchells & Butlers pub behind its wrought-iron arch. Middle: the flat-roofed replacement lettered KING'S STANDING, with a flight of steps up from the pavement. Bottom: the later red-brick pub with a painted sign of the King's Standing, and separate Bar and Lounge doors.

Notes

The dates of each rebuild still need confirming from a reliable source. The red-brick pub closed and was badly damaged by fire in 2019 (see the 2018 and 2019 pictures in the archive).
