Local memories

What people who knew this place have said about it, in their own words. These are memories, not checked facts.

“I was at Cranbourne Road school from 1952-58. I remember teachers Mr Martin, Mr Ledger and Miss Parker. Head teachers were Mr Hawkins and Mr Worrall. There was a climbing frame in the side playground we called the Jungle Gym (I thought it was Jungle Jim). My friends included Chris Egan, Teresa Williams and Diane Perks.”
