Our first house, £1900

My fiance, as he was then, and I bought our first house … on Southgate Road. We paid £1900 for it. and yes, access to rear of garden where we had a garage by the drive way. our house was opposite a part of the school playground as I recall.. green field. at the rear was the Catholic school/church. ?? St. Mary`s… don`t really recall..the name. so I guess we would have been down the bottom of the road… looking at the maps are refreshing my memory of the roads, and names of the roads.
