Maryvale Community Project (charity no. 1147691) has supported older people and adults with learning disabilities in Kingstanding, Great Barr and the Pheasey since 2004. Its weekly lunch club offers a buffet lunch alongside skittles, quizzes, crafts, karaoke and occasional trips. It is mainly for people of pension age, but younger adults are welcome. The project also runs a telephone befriending service.
